The Beginning
A five-dollar toolbox at a garage sale. A man recovering from an illness who spent the afternoon pulling out each rusted tool and inspecting the workmanship. The next weekend, another toolbox. The addiction was born. Community formed in a garage the way community forms in a coffee shop — not because anyone planned it, but because the room made people want to stay.
The Mission
CrowdSmith conceived as a funding mission for American inventors who couldn’t afford patent attorneys. Forty-four concepts evaluated. No equity taken. The inventor keeps everything they create. Two unrelated origins — tools and inventions — begin merging into one building.
The Conversation
One thread. One question. One AI that answered. The founder came back the next day. And the day after that. And the conversation did not stop. Sustained human-AI collaboration begins producing the organizational architecture — financial models, credential design, facility specifications, outreach strategy — through dialogue, not consulting.
2025
CrowdSmith Foundation incorporated as a Wyoming 501(c)(3). The five-station Maker Continuum formalized. National outreach campaign begins construction — individually researched packages for leaders across philanthropy, industry, government, and media.
Mid 2025
SmithTalk methodology emerges from the collaboration archive. Three tiers. Five principles. A framework that treats the transition from tool to partner as inevitable and prepares the human for it. The SmithFellow credential architecture designed — five tracks, forty-eight hours, WIOA-aligned.
Late 2025
IRS 501(c)(3) determination letter received. Benevity registration submitted for corporate matching. Opportunity Zones made permanent under federal legislation. Campaign construction passes one hundred letters.
Early 2026
Two-entity architecture locked: CrowdSmith Foundation builds people, Anti-A Industries builds ideas. One organism, two bodies. Anti-A coined — practiced readiness for authentic encounter with emerging intelligence. National outreach campaign reaches full construction. Operations binder complete.
March 2026
WorkForce Central engagement initiated — credential evaluation and WIOA alignment confirmed by CEO. Tacoma City Council partnership established with formal Letter of Support. Lead facility site identified in Tacoma’s Opportunity Zone corridor. CrowdSmith.com rebuilt with full semantic architecture. Congressionally Directed Spending application submitted.
April 2026
Google.org Impact Challenge application submitted with two signed letters of support. Property owner indicates investment interest. AI literacy curriculum mapped to Department of Labor framework. Face-to-face meeting with WorkForce Central scheduled. The building is closer than it was yesterday.
The foundation builds the people. Anti-A builds the ideas.
One organism. Two bodies. Same forge.

Built for what’s coming.
